Complex Car accident Situation before Naturalisation Applica

Post by Concernedguy » Mon Jul 15, 2013 7:52 pm

Hello here is my story, and i am concerned about it.
I had an accident while driving with a stationary truck parked on the wrong side of the road just immediately after a bend. There was me and a passenger and we were driving to a train station still dressed in football boots and all. After the crash, i got out of the car and the other guys was sitting in the driver seat when the police came, which was after about 4mins. Before driving and after football, because it was so hot, we had drunk about 2 bottles of cider before going to the train station .
When the police arrived, the ambulances came and took me and the other guy to different hospital.
I did not get breathalyzed by the police or emergency crew, nor did i give blood at the scene.
Only when i was at the hospital did a blood sample get taken from me, involuntarily by a doctor before running tests. The time between when we set out and the blood sample being taken was about 2 hours.
I discharged myself from the hospital the same night and went home and have not spoken or being in contact with any police.
I want to apply for Naturalisation and had already filled out my form, and gathered all documents before this accident.

Since i have not been charged with anything, can i take my documents to the NCS office and start my Naturalisation application, without mentioning the accident? If i am charged later after, will it affect my application?
Can the police charge me without seeing me, or can i be charged by post?
Thanks

Yes you can apply but if you are subsequently charged or there is a pending prosecution you will have to inform the home office. If you are charged or there is a pending prosecution the home office will pause your application until an outcome is reached. You may have a lucky escape, be sure to learn from it!

To be charged, you'll have to be arrested.
