Trusted list of banks and it's application for visitor visa

Hello,

Please assist me understanding if authorized list of banks published by UKBA is only applicable for applications under Point based system not visitor visa?

I am applying for my mother and found out that her bank is not on the list published by UKBA.

Would this be a problem or should I request her to change bank?

Please advise.
