Help!!!! Regarding 10 years residency...

While going through some of the topics, I have found forum very helpful.

My question is ....
it will be mine 4 years in uk on september 2013 and now I am looking for some ways to stretch it to 10 years legally.... please help me all gurus out there with your suggestion n expertise. [/b]

As you haven't said what category of visa you have at present it's impossible to give you an answer.

Trawling back through your previous posts your psw visa was due to expire in Feb of this year. Did it?

yes it was... but then i have applied for student visa again n now problem is that college(uk education professional) license has been revoked by ukba n they given me another 60 days to either go for another category or another college and thats why my status is still PSW.

You can find a Tier 2 sponsor. (this will potentially qualify you for ILR in 5 years' time).

Find another Tier 4 sponsor.... although there are time limits on how long you can be under Tier 4.

Marry a UK or EU citizen.

These are the routes open to you... Or potentially some form of Tier 1 (Ent)...

Were you ever actually issued a Tier 4 visa after your PSW?

It seems like an awful long shot for you to stay to hit the 10 year ILR, in my humble opinion. There are very few combinations that will now allow it...

No... coz the college licence has been revoked ukba has given me another opportunity to either go foe other category or find another tier 4 sponser.

Thank u so much casa and physicskate for your suggestions. Looking at your reply the only positive I can see is there are few routes still available. I have already done level 7 msc(which was a one year course)... Now what more options are left ...can I do 2 years more in level 7 and then 4 years phd. Is that alright?

If you have an Msc, surely you can go for Tier 2. RMLT would not be required (if my understanding that HO are extending your 3C is correct). Get a job. Pay taxes. It's a shorter route...

It's also very cliché of the perpetual international student to want to stay on Tier 4 until you qualify for ILR. But that's just my two pence....

Since you not hit the 6 years cap, therefore could be able to do another master if the new master course proves to complement/enhance the scope of your previous masters.

Long residence might don’t stand till 2019, nevertheless be smart and pick up other destinations like Canada, Finland etc while you have time, energy and youth. Future of GB is bleak.
