Oh, thanks for your kind words of encouragement! )...but ofcourse you are right, it's sort of a lottery thing hence a strong conviction is required,sprinkled with some faith,mixed with encouragement and a dash of strong will.
on the approval letter, it says not to contact your local council, which knowing my luck, is what they would tell me if i did ring up to query. In hindsight, i should have probably specified which council i would have prefered to have as it so happens am not quite sure which one they will send me to but will keep you posted as well support you and others who are also waiting for the more important ones.

So, never mind if a person sends an application first than another, because at the end the important is if you sent to the HO all the right support documentations needed for your approval.

Sikiliza69 + xlisusx - you both make good points!! The actual decision process isn't a lottery because if you are eligible you will eventually get approval (so, xlisusx, you are correct to state that the eventual end decision is important!).
