hello guys,
sequel to this topic
http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=141308
In which my further leave to remain was refused and I was advised to contact the local enforcement office to discuss my departure. I have spoken to my solicitor who gave me similar advise to what was given in the forums. Apparently the solicitor who advised me earlier to apply and charged me had left the firm and the present solicitor agreed she advised me wrongly. As my daughter turns 5 this November 2013. But is not a BC ( But was born here and is with her mum who was given a tier 2 work permit in 2010 ) We got divorced in 2011
1. She ( the new solicitor ) advised me to get a contact order for my daughter in place ( obviously which takes months ) and reapply ( again which shall cost me )
2. I am of the opinion to speak to either the local MP and citizens advise.
My argument on no 2 above, is that if I was advised wrongly and money taken from me. I want to get proper advise, even before I leave the country ( if and when it eventually comes to that ) Assuming all fails.
Most importantly, how do I go about contacting the local enforcement office, what does the law say and what plans should I have in place ?
I dont have the money for another solicitor and weary of them
Kindly advise
many thanks
