What is REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE?

Post by fickolin » Sun Aug 04, 2013 7:19 pm

Dear readers,

today I spent few hours searching through forum to find what means registration certificate.

Let me explain my situation. I'm EU citizen (Slovenian) being married/civil-partnership (in Germany) with Thai citizen for 2 years and living together in Germany. My spouse has valid residence card to live in Germany for period of 5 years which will be prolonged to indefinite time.

I applied for UK EEA family permit as we want to go to London to do some sightseeing. After I filled loooong administration form and fix the date of interview they sent me, via e-mail, the list of all supporting documents we have to provide.
After reading the mail 2 questions raised:

1. What do they mean with "up to date registration certificate for applicant and EEA sponsor i. e. spouse or parent ", what documents should I provide?

2. My marriage certificate and residence card of my spouse is in German. Do I need to provide a certified translation for it or originals should be enough?

Many many thanks for your answer.

Andrej
