ILR Checklist

Post by krisVisa » Sun Aug 11, 2013 11:47 pm

Hello,
Sorry if I am asking a question already answered, but I need quick help here on what documents are required for ILR [PEO]
I am the main applicant with spouse and child [1 year born in UK and on Tier 1 child now]

Please provide me a checklist, that can help me as well as others.

My worry is about proof of absence, proof for spouse. Baby is 1 year old, can I apply for her also ?

Thank you

Regards

Check the list of documents in below case.

You can go through some successful story of ILR here and you wil get fair idea of what is required.

You can apply for baby should not be an issue..But if you have enough leave, once your ILR is approved then you can directly apply for Childs BC filling MN1 form you would save money that way.

BIG Suggestion go PEO..Postal applications are taking a long long time.

I could not understand - "But if you have enough leave, once your ILR is approved then you can directly apply for Childs BC filling MN1"

I have come on Work permit and switched to Tier 1. My Tier 1 valid till Feb 2014. Does this mean "enough leave"

The child will not need their visa extending if you are wanting to register the child as British as the child was born in the UK the child is entitled to register as British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA when either of the parents have been granted ILR.

Cohabitation proof should ideally be, a letter in joint names or one each for every 4 months of the last 2 years from a total of at least 3 different sources. However, if all you have is CT invoices, that should suffice.

You only need to include a police registration certificate if that was a requirement of your stay.

Yes, usually around 4-8 weeks but can occasionally take longer.
