Does Passport number Necessary by Referee on Form

Post by shareefco » Tue Aug 13, 2013 9:40 pm

Hi,

Can I please confirm; Does Passport number Necessary to be mention by referee on the application form.

and both referees can be from the same Office (work location) i.e. one is Officer and 2nd Manager or Director?

As it says in section 5.1 (both not related to other referee)

Please advise.

Thanks
Shareef

Compulsory to mention the passport number of one referee.

Better to mention passport numbers of both referees. However if one of the referees is not british then you can only disclose the passport number of one referee.

I have read somewhere that if the referee does not want the passport number to be disclosed to the applicant, they can write "Provided on Request". Someone senior please confirm.

It says here:

Check 6.3.7.9
http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/sitec ... iew=Binary

Also, where it says provide previous 5 years addresses:

Does it include current address or exclude current address?

Thanks
shareef.
