marriage advice please

Post by happytrish40 » Wed Aug 14, 2013 12:59 pm

Please help, my friend would like to go to the Caribbean to marry this girl he met via the internet. He visited her over there and they got on well, they really love each other. he said that he will marry her over there. They are going to come up together, she will visit but not declare that they are married, she have a sister here and she will stay with her she have been here before and stayed with her sister. They already have a problem raising the £1806.00 a year is there any way around this?
But looking at the UK border force it stated that she can get a visitor marriage visa, which says that they can get married, but must go back home, and she cannot travel back and forth. Then it sent you to another page which say that they can get married and fill out an FLR(M) form and hand it in four weeks before the six months is up. Has any one been in this situation please help

Firstly, if she withholds the information that she's married or has a fiance in the UK, she'll be making what may well be the biggest mistake of her life and will face a ban for future visa applications.
She can apply for a fiancee visa to marry in the UK within 6 months and then switch to a probationary spouse visa on form FLR(M).

The minimum annual earning level is £18,600. Do they have any savings?
