The fact you got divorced after is not relevant to the application. The fact you filled in the RoR section in the form probably helped a bit with the confusion. Make sure you explain where you believe they have made a mistake and ask for reconsideration. I trust you will be successful.
Thanks Jambo, for your help! I am going to see solicitor tommorow just to make sure. On Thursday will send a letter.

Will keep you posted.

Hello,

I have a similar situation, however I have already got my PR (granted in December 2012), I have lived in the UK for 7 years now.

I am about to start the divorce process from my EU husband.

Apparently, I already qualify for naturalisation since I have been here for more than 6 years.

Is it best to wait for completion of 12 months periods which is in December 2013?

My divorce is not going to affect the UK naturalisation application, is this right?

Any other relevant information will be helpful, thank you.

After you received PR even if you divorced or EEA national left UK it doesn't effect your future application

wait for 1 year after your received PR

By the way can you please tell us what documents you submitted for EEA4 ( or ) application ?

Hi All,

Would like you to update in my situation. I have received finally my PR. Please see timeline bellow:

EEA4 application sent - 12.04.2013
HO received - 13.04.2013
COA Received - 19.04.2013
Request for ex-wife National ID card back - 17.07.2013
Phone them up after 20 working days - they just apologies and suggested to submit another request.
19.08.2013 - Submit another request with ex-wife letter that she require her ID card for frequent work travel.
28.08.2013 - Refused with rights to appeal. Refusal due to didn't provide Decree Absolute. And EU National proof of work at the time of divorce.
13.09.2013 - Sent new application with all missing evidences + the folder with all copies to Caseworker who refused my application asking for reconsideration.
18.09.2013 - Letter from payment processing team stating that application has been passed to case working team.
23.09.2013 - New COA with new case ID
25.09.2013 - Folder with all copies returned back stating that they unable to reconsider original decision as I have lodged new application.
Today 03.10.2013 - Received all documents back with PR sticker in my passport.
Funny enough PR is dated 24.09.2013. This means it took them 1 day to consider application as COA was dated 23.09.2013.

Good luck for all who is waiting!!!

Hi . I just got PR sticker on my passport . So after 12 month what kind of documents I should send to HO for naturalazation? Unfortunately I divorced with my eu wife and she left country and I have no contact with her. So can I apply for naturalazation without her documents if yes what kind of documents should I sent?
