Child born in the UK, left UK and then Got Tier1 Dependent

Post by zzzindagi » Fri Aug 23, 2013 12:34 am

Hi Guys,

I am due to apply my ILR next year.
I want to ask about my daughter who was born in the UK but had to leave UK to visit Pakistan without Visa then returned back after one year after getting Tier1 Dependent visa from Pakistan.

My daughter is currently on Tier 1 Dependent visa and will still have 2 years visa when I will get my ILR..

I want to know that after getting my ILR what Visa should I apply for my daughter or just leave it like this as she will have 2 years visa left at that time.

As soon as you're granted ilr then just register your child as British by virtue of section 1(3) BNA on form MN1.

Apply for her ILR before her leave expires, unless she is registering for British citizenship.
