Spouse Visa - Bank Statement

Post by rebeirostephen » Sun Aug 25, 2013 11:28 pm

Hi,
I am a British Citizen, and willing to bring my Wife from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
I have an issue regarding my income and Bank Statements.

Here is the situation:
The current company I work for is going through an administration phase, which means for the last 6 months I haven't received full Salary, I only received partial amounts on different intervals. The company assured I would get paid once business gets back into track.

However I did receive full payslips and my recent P60 indicates that my tax has been paid which also indicates my full earnings. The earning from this company is 15K per annum.

Secondly I am also self employed working as a contract consultant to another company on a fixed pay of £1000 a month (£12000 a year), they settle my invoices in 2 to 3 months time. But when I had to do my Annual Return in April 2013 , I had to consider the unpaid invoices into the equation and pay my taxes. Which has been done.

Now all the above makes my Annual income of £27000. Now my bank statement shows less amount received from the first company and no income from the second company. So the question is, will the bank statements be an issue during my Wifes Settlement application?

Is it just possible to use my payslips, Invoices, annual tax return and P60 instead of my bank statements?

Hope you guys can help me out here.

Cheers
Stephen
