Form AN - sending attested photocopies of documents

Hello,
I am applying for naturalisation and filling in the form AN. There is a requirement that I have to send the form of ID I used for my life in UK test. I used my provisional driving license. As I need it for my driving test I want to know can I send attested photocopy of it or only the original will work?
Any help and advice will be appreciated.
