Spouse settlement uk visa Application from india

Hello there, I have applied for uk spouse settlement visa from India on 4th june 2013, its been 12 weeks and yet have received no update from the BHC, contacted them today and they replied that my application is in the process of being assessed and will keep me updated on the outcome of the same.

What do I make out from this, whether I have to wait for few more days or my visa will be issued anytime now.Any kind of guidance from the experienced one will be appreciated as the lenghty waitng period have tested all my patience.
Did anyone have experienced this much time to recieve their visa??

I have applied for UK Settlement visa on 18th July 2013 from Hyderabad. Haven't heard yet from UKBA. It's been more than 24 weeks and I'm bit concerned. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Ooh july 18 2013, its really a long time. My first application was refused in sept,which took 3 months for them to give me that decision, reapplied in oct and received my visa in dec.
Try mailing to BHC chennai, no use of calling to vfs , they are of no help.

I got a call from Chennai BHC for some additional documents. I was plainly told to submit
Evidence Of The Sponsor's National Insurance Contributions.

Juhi, do you have any idea what are the expected docs for this?

It is urgent as we have only 7 working days to submit this. Appreciate your prompt response

If I'm not wrong NI contribution shows up in your spouse's pay slip. Check for NI contribution column.

thanks Rams. We have submitted payslips along with all documents. I am so confused of what else is expected as evidence for NI contribution

please dont just say Visa office Hyderabad......is it Hyderabad through MUMBAI ..??
Have you had ANY communications from them?
DO you think there were any issues in your application that would cause the ECO to delay decision ?

our case is as follows
I am well settled British man
10 December 2013 My wife submitted SPOUSE VISA APPLICATION in PUNE
12 December 2013 case processed at MUMBAI

27 Jan 2014 I received a phone call from Mumbai Visa to submit an original document because the photo copy on file would not do
28 Jan 2014 sent them the original
30 January I phoned MUmbai and they said yes they have received it..
09 February 2014 TRACKING SHOWS .....STILL IN PROCESS....YOU CAN TRACK YOUR APPLICATION .
DO YOU THINK WE WILL GET A DECISION VERY SOON ?
ON 14 February 2014 that is next week IT WILL BE 40 WORKING DAYS...
I THINK WE WILL GET THE VISA after 40 working days from Mumbai.

This is for SAMISPOUSAL....dude whats the number you used to call Mumbai visa office? The reason I ask is because the only number I have is +91 2266502222 and when ever I call it...theirs soooo many options to select from...and when I do select one it just tells me to go online. Is their one where I can actually speak to a real person?

i rang 0091 22 66502181 thats mumbai visa

and they were helpful at the early stages
but right towards the end i felt a bit offended when they said we cant give you any info... data prot.. etc becuase the application really belongs to your wife. send us an email from her to give you authority...
my wife immediately sent them an email and
I said i am the british sponsor . this is a spouse application its stupid to ask for auth as we love each other and in a genuine relationship ?
two days later we received the visa

I have recently received my ILR (Mar 2015) and applied for dependent visa for my family on 28th April. Since then I have not heard anything back from them.

Today I have emailed asking for an update on the status.

Could anyone please provide me the link for tracking as the one I found doesnt seems to be working.

My solicitor told me yesterday that our appeal was allowed.

I am so thankful to GOD!!!

Now just hoping that the home office don't appeal the decision.

How long do they have to appeal the decision?
