What to put in SET(M) Section 8B

Post by admason » Sun Sep 01, 2013 9:58 am

Hi,

We are completing the SET(M) form for my wife after her 2yrs in the UK on a Spouse Visa. We have a 2 year old daughter who was born in the UK and therefore doesn't need to apply for ILR, I am a British Citizen and returned to the UK 13yrs ago. My wife stays at home to look after our daughter, she is originally from the USA and I am the sole income earner and I own the house we live in.

I am wondering if any of the above information or any other information should be put in Section 8B where is says "is there any other information about your family that you wish to be considered as part of your application?"

Apologies if this has been covered in a previous post, I did do a search, albeit a quick one, but due to 3 very stressful and busy months we're running out of time to get the application in :(

Many thanks

Andrew

No, you can pop the child details in 3.9.

If you're sending the application by post use the Settlement Checking Service (click)

Thanks for the quick response.

I totally missed 3.9 as I was very confused over Section 3 in general so I phone the imigration support number and explained that wqe had a child who was born here and they saind I didn't need to fillout section 3.

Unfortunately I can't get a SCS appointment in time as I only found about this recently :(
