Qualification for Naturalization considering 28 Days rule?

Post by saayinla » Sun Sep 01, 2013 6:11 pm

Considering ILR was granted 28 days before the completion of 5 full year for HSMP/Tier 1. Can I apply for BC following 12 months from ILR or must it be 5 full years + 12 months?

Thanks in advance and apologies if question has already been asked umpteen times.

12 months after ILR subject to meeting the other standard requirements including being physically present in the UK, 5 years prior to your application being received by the Home Office. Based on you not being married/civil p to a British Citizen.

saayinla..

I am the same, when are you applying ??

they just consider 5 yrs so i believe we are ok to apply exactly after 12 months of our ILR.
