I sent them an email last week September asking for an update, they told me they are still checking and that it's at the second stage. It's really weird: if you check applications from January and February and even from first week of March, acks and 2nd letter (or together) are really fast. They replied back to applicants within 2-3 weeks. Starting from end of March it really slowed down again, some people got their acknowledgements within 2 months and 2nd letters within 6 months.

Anyway let's keep on waiting

Thousands of letters are usually sent out after each ceremony. No signs of this yet.

So, I called them few mins after I wrote this. The phone was picked immediately. I was told " I cant really say/tell when u will get ur response, but its nearing the final stages, hopefully it wouldn't be too long before you hear from us".
I inquired further if they needed any additional documents..." oh noo, we have all we need at this stage, we don't require anything off you".
So probably after the bank holiday Monday, letters will be rolled out.

I may not guaranteed that, everyone waiting will be granted Iraland Naturalization but atleast, 5,000 out of the 6,000 waiting now will be granted and that's all and the rest of the 1,000 should now now re-apply if need be.

And Finally, was that not the reasons why the minister for justice Alan Shatter removed fine payment for Irish naturalization and any immigration officers demanding for such unpaid fine must be reported to the nearest an Gardai siochana station, so that, they could be prosecuted for such payment concessional offering. YOU CAN READ CLEARLY THE PAYMENT OF FINE'S DOES NOT ARISE ON ANY IMMIGRATION SLOTS'

Here is the notice on Iraland website....

Notice to INIS Customers re: Possible fraud

It has come to the attention of INIS that some of our customers have been contacted by telephone by a person purporting to be from INIS indicating that they must pay a fine of €500. They quote the INIS helpline number which is freely available on our website and other publications to indicate some kind of legitimacy.
This is an attempted fraud. INIS does not and will not contact applicants by telephone in relation to payment for services. Fees for various services are published on the website and payable to INIS as part of the application process. The payment of "fines" does not arise.
Applicants are asked to be vigilant. Do not give details of your immigration application to telephone callers unless you are sure who they are. If someone demands payment of a fine, contact INIS and the Garda Síochána.

All the best fellow comrade waiting.
