Converting Postal Application to PEO (ILR)

Post by kalixaq » Fri Sep 06, 2013 3:15 pm

I've just recently(3rd Sep 2013) applied for ILR when my current Tier 1 General is due to expire 6th Sep 2013.

There is nothing questionable about my application and everything is textbook correct. I only now realized that postal application process times are up to 8-10 months at the moment.

Does anyone know if there is a way to convert the application to PEO, paying the extra after applying with post?

never heard of it, but i highly doubt it

what you definitely can do, is withdraw your application with a view to applying at PEO instead

but I am not sure they will return your money, and, you risk falling out of date if they don't return your documents within 28 days of 6th September, and you don't secure a PEO appointment before then

I'd rather leave it as it is.

If you have urgency -- eg need to travel etc -- you can try, after giving it a few months, writing to your MP
