Sponsor management System

I am an individual currently in my post study work visa and willing to change to tier 2 (General). I have been offered a job with an UK based employer and all requirements met (salary etc.).

The employer is currently in the pbs sponsor list and has A rating for both tier2 general and ICT type of VISA's.

However due to some reasons their username and password has become invalid and they have reapplied.

They received the Sponsor Management System's password before three weeks by email and they are awaiting the user id to reach by post before they can allocate a COS for myself.

I would like to know

1. How long will it take for the user id to reach by post after the password has arrived by email ?

2. Does the current situation mean, that the employer will be able to provide COS after getting the user-id by post. ?

1. How long will it take for the user id to reach by post after the password has arrived by email ? it should come very soon, if not they should contact the HO

2. Does the current situation mean, that the employer will be able to provide COS after getting the user-id by post. ?
To assign a CoS they need to be able to log into the SMS for which the Level 1 user needs both user ID and password.

Once they have access to the SMS, will there be further any delay in providing the unrestricted COS.

If they don't have any unrestricted COS available for me can they get one ? If so How long will it take because my visa is expiring by the first week of January 2014. Considering the current situation of just having the password and awaiting for the User id by post does it look like they will be able to get everything sorted before that time.

Hi all,

Just adding to this, my situation is kinda similar: my company just received the password on an email. However, this is for a fresh sponsorship licence, for which they applied two weeks ago.

Is it safe to assume that, by receiving the password, they will get the licence? In that case, it was very fast (thank god)

My employer has submitted COS on 2nd Dec and informed me that UK BA will decide on this on 11th Dec.

Can anyone please let me know how long it takes UK BA to communicate back once they take decision?
