HCI London, Passport application for New born child in UK

this is a two stage process -
birth registration/certificate.
1. apply online, you would need photo and signature to be scanned and uploaded to the consular website.
2. print application form and submit at the hci office. tokens start at 830, counter opens at 930. daily around 50 people would be served.
3. documents needed, local council birth certificate (short and long), passport copies, one passport size photo. all xerox.
4. it takes 2 weeks, you have to go and collect the certificate.
