ILR Success in Sheffield PEO

Post by Prash_13 » Mon Sep 09, 2013 11:21 pm

Hi All,

My ILR application is successful. I would like to thank everyone in this forum. I got answers to so many questions. Keep this forum going, it is a great resource.

Here is my case and list of documents submitted:

I applied for an ILR for me and my wife. I have been with 3 employers with following categories through WP + Tier 2 ICT + Tier 2 Gen.

• Appointment was at 9.00 @ Sheffield PEO.
• Entered the building at 8.30.
• Registered the case at 8.45.
• Documents verified at 9.00 - I mentioned that I have copies of the documents and lady at the counter noted the same and told copies will be collected if required and no questions asked.
• All the original documents were put into one file at the counter and handed over back to us.
• Payment made through AMEX credit card at the payment counter and the original documents file was handed back to the UKBA staff at 9.15.
• Bio-metrics at 10.15.
• Collected the copies of the documents at 10.30 and they said that the case will be decided in 45 mins. They also told that we could either stay back and wait, or leave the building and be back in 30 mins.
• We went out and came back at 11:15 and our approval letter was ready :D

Carried the following documents but did not submit:

• P60, P45 and Employment History
• Payslip and bank statement for the period of the absences

p.s Kept each set of documents in separate folders and in the same order as above and completed the application form with Acrobat. The folder structure has probably helped the CW to sort the documents out easily.

After the results, without any plan we just drove to peak district and then went to Castleton and took the amazing boat trip inside the cave. Worth trying once... http://speedwellcavern.co.uk/

Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to answer.

Many thanks,
Prash
