Reference (profession query)

Post by fmac » Tue Sep 10, 2013 11:11 pm

Hi all,

Have browsed many pages of this forum and cannot find the answer for my question. Is it possible to have the professional reference from a Psychologist Therapist? That exact profession is not listed, however nor the GP is? So wanted to check under which category this can be included? If so.

Thank you for you time and knowledge.

Yes, is she registered with HPC or BACP or any other registration body. If she is working at psychology therapist, then acceptable.

Thanks for your reply, she is registered in both, works for the NHS, is that ok? My concern is that her profession is not on the list

That is fine, the list is endless and all professions cannot be listed.
