When can be registered 7 year old child as a British Citizen

Friend of mine is British Citizen 4year back. And family (Wife and daughter) joined him 2 year back on settlement visa. Family had a PEO appointment last week and granted INDEFINITE leave to remain.
can daughter apply for Registration as a British Citizen now or she has to wait till next year? I really appreciate for your suggestion.
