BRP Card Nationality Query

Post by laluuk » Sat Sep 21, 2013 5:30 pm

Hi Guys,

New to the forum, so apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.

So I've just received my BRP card - Indefinite Leave to Remain. On the back of my card it says Nationality as "INDIA". Should that not be "INDIAN"? Is this an error?

The attached leaflet has a sample BRP Card and under Nationality is says COUNTRY, which would make my BRP Card correct. But generally when someone says your Nationality it'd be "INDIAN" and not "INDIA". My passport has Nationality as "INDIAN" too.

I'm a bit confused. Can someone help me out please.

Thanks
Dev

Problem arises eg Lebanon vs. Lebanese not Lebanonese. Hence a global practice to stick to country name.
Please do not send me PM if I haven't sent you one yet.
