Pls Help, wrong decleration Not my Fault

Post by Amebo » Sat Sep 21, 2013 10:14 pm

Please i receievd a letter from HMRC today stating that they have just recieved some information from different Agencies i workd for last year in 2012,

That i did not declear the real amount for 2012 to 2013 Award Tax Year, (ctc, wtc ) But I actually told the hmrc man on phone that i worked for some agencies and he only asked me my annual pay for the company i am working for at present and i told him 12,980.

I was surprised today, they said they have investigate and found out that the total money for 2012 to 2013 is 31,000 but i was not overpaid tax credit, but as for the Tax i underpaid some tax due to different agncie using free tax allowance.

PLSSSSS, is this going to affect my ROR application in November with HO. I am non EEA

Thanks and God bless

Although, you're not really asking about 'benefits' it should have any bearing. Make a repayment plan with the HMRC to pay the tax you owe.

If you have the right to reside then claiming benefits should be ok.

It will be assessed on their income. They need to inform of the correct set of circumstances.
