Worried friend PLEASE HELP

Post by worried_friend » Mon Sep 23, 2013 7:09 am

Hi all,

My friend has just submitted a spouse visa application. He is British citezen and she from Pakistan.

First can someone confirm that on passports or other documents the Place of birth depending on their processes can be either the city of town or their district of where their were born?

Second my friend asked me to look at his application after he submitted it (don't get me started on that) and it looks like the place of birth for his wife is wrong on the passport and the application. He didn't bother checking it, and just wrote what was on the passport on the application form.

I don't want to tell him anything yet, but can some of the more experienced members tell what's the likely outcome.

Is his application guaranteed to fail, and if so, any chance of appeal or will he have to submit another application after changing the passport etc

Thanks all...Please reply if you have any info on this matter.

As I mentionen before in a seperate post that I have been checking my friends application for his pakistani spouse.

Another concern I have with his application is that he has included a COPY of the land registry as he owns the house. This copy is stamped by an authority and with phrase true copy of original.

Is this Ok?

Thank guys[/url]
