URGENT ADVISE

Post by OBFI » Tue Sep 24, 2013 8:15 am

Hi,
Please I need your advise.
We submitted our application for ILR SET (O) about 13 weeks ago. We have done the biometrics as well.

One of our children is over 18 who submitted his application filling his own forms as required. He went to uni last weekend but the university won't let him register without his passport and valid visa.

Could you please advise us on what options we have? Can we ask for fast track on compassionate ground. It is very traumatic for the young man. Am hoping someone has had this experience and will be willing to share with us. Thank you for an anticipated help.

If he made an in-time valid application and his leave has expired, then also tell the university that his dependant leave is 'treated as continuing' under Section 3C of the Immigration Act 1971.

Do you have any copies of his application and status?

Perhaps the University may use the Employment Checking Service to confirm his status?

University said they will check status today. They also mentioned that if the decision is not taken within 5 weeks he will defer admission . The whole thing saddens him.
I will provide feedback at the end of the day. Thank you

Vinny thank you, just to provide you with a quick feedback. We got passport for me and the rest of the family. Except that of my son who is 18 and filled a different form. Has anyone experience this? We submitted on the same date and paid from the same account. I will appreciate your feedback please.
