a parking charge notice and AN application

Post by desertlord » Thu Sep 26, 2013 9:51 am

Hi,
Just to be clear with things may I ask some experts to advise on this issue.

1- Wife parked our car in a shopping center car park and paid by sms service provided by the private company operating this car park.

2- There was a mistake from their side and they issued her a parking charge notice.

While this being looked at by the private company, can I ask is this a traffic offence? Will that affect AN application?

If she doesn't pay ( for the sencond time ) can they take her to court? will it become an issue for AN application?

Fight ur case if she has proof that she paid then give that evidence dont let it go to court pay on second time then start their complaint procedure for refund.

Thanks mate for your reply.

Still the question, is the fact they as a private company issued this parking charge notice, is this considered to be a traffic offence? Do we have to declare it on AN application at this stage?

its not a traffic offence, its not even a fine, private companies have no legal right to issue you fine. the only way it may effect you is if it goes to court and you don't pay it then.

You don't have to mention it on your application.
