Just have to call them couple of times and email them twice...but then again looking at the stats that you guys have made...you can clearly make out that HO is trying to finish with the apps made by the 25/10/2013.

Recommended to use next day delivery self addressed envelop

Waiting in this kind of weather is not good for ones mind, body and soul.......but lets be hopeful that things will improve very, very soon.

I suggest they introduce the PEO system to AN & MN1 application too.

Book appointment > wait for the day > attend in the morning or afternoon > get out of the PEO with job done same day....priceless!!!

Dream on.......

Yeah it will be very useful. Alternatively online tracker may help so there won't be any extra burden on HO dealing with requests such as how long does it take, has it been assigned to case worker, my letter has not arrived etc etc technology needs some utilisation here.
Simples!!!

An online tracker shouldn't be too costly for the HO to implement but hey what happens to jobs bro? Technology taking away our jobs song will start :D

Congrats! All the best with the rest of the journey.

I wonder why it took the letter a whole week to get to you though.

Posting on behalf of wife
Date of Application:25th Oct 2013 (NCS Bristol)
Date of recieving by HO: 26th Oct 2013 ( Old rules)
Deduction of fees: 03/01/2014
Date of approval: 01/02/2014 ( letter for invitation to ceremony from the council dated 31/01/2014. HO letter awaited)
Date of ceremony: 09/04/2014

My question is my wife works in a different city during the week. Could she schedule a private ceremony at her local council rather than the registered address?

Congrats! I doubt if that is possible at this stage, you are normally given the option when completing your AN form.

There was no option about this on AN form as far as I can see on the form unless I am missing something.
