There was no option about this on AN form as far as I can see on the form unless I am missing something.

By default you get your ceremony scheduled at a council close to your address, but you have the option on the form to specify otherwise if you prefer it to be scheduled at a different council. I very much doubt you being able to rescheduled after approval without causing a significant delay. Get your Mrs to take time off to attend this once in a life time bit mate!

The Citizenship Ceremonies Support Team deals with transfers. So, your wife could contact UKBA to ask what is needed to transfer the ceremony from the local council at the registered address to the local council at her weekday address.

Just to update you guys, we have now received the letter today in the post. Although ceremony letter is still pending. Thank you for all of your help. Ceremony letter should be in the post any moment now. 1 step away from whole of my family becoming British.

Hello everyone,
I have finally received my supporting documents together with the letter saying that my application was successful and that i should receive in the next 2 weeks the invitation letter to attend the citizenship ceremony.

Sorry for the delay in bringing you the news..been away and only just managed to check the documents. Mine is approved as expected.The letter is dated 25thJanuary and was delivered on the 28th Jan. 25th is Saturday so not sure if they got the date wrong or if the HO is working weekends as well.The letter said iI'llhave to wait ffor ceremony invitation from local council. I haven't spotted that brown envelope yet and it may arrive this week or hiding somewhere amongst my pile of posts. Good luck to everyone waiting..the end is near..keep ur hopes up.
I'll keep u informed abt the dates of ceremony invite. Pls update my dates in stats accordingly.

I think when the approvals was coming every days at the same time might be some officers did mistake .( decision can't be back . )
Now they all doing training again lol I don't know when they will finish

I pray you and the others in your receiving date gets it this week. You have been waiting too long now. The home office processing is so unpredictable and that is what makes us all so nervous because you don't have anything to follow other than this wonderful thread here. Keep holding on and I shall pray
