Have you tried calling today? Mine is early Dec, same usual response for me.

Its very tactical to have the 6 months clause, so we dont question their services any earlier though we see soo much mess in their processing ...

Well even after 6 months we can't question. They wont answer even after 6 months. They would just say ' need more check' that's about it. So any clause for HO is just a piece of paper that can be thrown in the bin

Application date: 15/10/2013--NCS
Acknowledgement: 5/11/2013

Approval dated: 24/02/2014 ( received 28th)

One suggestion for people still waiting: Please do not lose hope and DO NOT be upset upon what you hear from HO call centre or emails about 'no decision is still made on your application'

I called them on 27th and they said it is still in process and no update. But the approval date was dated 24th.

Well done, am happy that October batch is almost complete. Also like he said, I don't think its wise to trust the emails or HO anymore. When I phoned HO back in January about my application, they guy said on the system it shows still in progress when my application was already approved and dispatched to my address. So your best option is just waiting and find something to preoccupy your time until you get the surprise brown letter.

Finally I received the most awaited brown envelope.. Got my approval letter today
I am so happy and relieved. It took exactly 4 months..

Finally the wait has come to an end. I received my spouse's approval letter yesterday..
