Apparently due to high volume applications i should give it another week or two for payment to be processed if nothing has happened then i should contact them again.
Frustratingggg
There were some folks whose payments were taken on Saturdays & Sundays so you should be okay...all is still well :Dthirdlioness wrote:Applied on 9th Oct 13, received at HO on 10th Oct.
Still fees is not taken.
Called HO this morning, the lady took my name, DOB and nationality and said my case is still not on the system.
She mentioned they are swamped due to the 28th Oct deadline.
A bit frustrating that things are not moving.
Wish I had applied earlier in September.
Hoping all goes well...soon!

I'm guessing we're in the same pile as you then.....I think realistically we shouldn't be concerned until 2nd week of November...thirdlioness wrote:Applied on 9th Oct 13, received at HO on 10th Oct.

looks like around 14-15 days for fees to be taken...hopefully things won't slow down, now that the 25th Oct deadline has passed and ukba will start processing quicker the application lines that should get thinner now.my timeline starts at ukba on the 18th, so i'm expecting any changes in my credit card statement around 31-01.11.the only thing that kills you is the "waiting"game we all play, constant thoughts if anything goes wrong, and so on...all we can do is wait.hang in there guys, as they say "good things happen to those who wait".i sure hope so...DJMC wrote:Hello all, look at my updates below.

You cannot count time you have spent in the United Kingdom while exempt from immigration control as part of the residential qualifying period. If you are in the United Kingdom as a diplomat or as a member of visiting armed forces or if you are in any place of detention, you would be considered exempt from immigration control. This time would be treated as absence from the United Kingdom.asadkhan71 wrote:Do you want me put a link to it or do you want me copy the clauses here
Please search in google annex b of immigration or BNA do not quote the standard UKBA requirements.akhan25 wrote:You cannot count time you have spent in the United Kingdom while exempt from immigration control as part of the residential qualifying period.
