I noticed who has a resident card, it takes 10-21 days after money taken off the account, 10-21 days if u married to BC, so no idea why 2 months already

Maybe the caseworker is ill, on holiday or just being lazy. Better yet, there may be checks still being done, who knows, hope you hear wonderful news soon, good luck.

Thanks for updating us adil2009.adil2009 wrote:Thanks dear , my fees was taken on 7th november , applied 10 october ,still awaiting....... dont know how long ??
lad2777 - I have also noticed that EEA applicants are taking longer than if someone was spouse of BC or had ILR. Don't despair as you are not alone. My application reached HO on 14th October and am still waiting. It is frustrating seeing applicants who applied way after me receive their approvals but am not going to let this run me crazy. Am off on holiday in a few days time and hopefully the envelop will in my letter box on my return. :)Loveislovely wrote:lad2777 wrote:I am worried, two months and nothing and in my case I am EEA, got permanent resident card, so no idea why no reply yet.

You have 90 days to attend a ceremony after receiving your approval, so plenty of time. See here: http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/briti ... /ceremony/lad2777 wrote:what happens, if I am on holiday 3 weeks and in the meantime letter arrives and sometimes the ceremony date is in a couple of days, If I miss that ceremony date as I am away, what will happen?
somebody might pick up a letter /singed the documents but tehn put away till I get back from holiday and what in this case?
You don't get invited to a ceremony. You need to book it yourself within 3 months.lad2777 wrote:but what in the case when I am away someone singes delivery and inside there is an invitation for ceremony and I am not aware of it till I get back, so it might be situation that I missed it and in this case HO doesnt care and u cant arrange a new ceremony
I think they send the letter with a date which will be a group ceremony. and individuals who opt to book private speak to council.. may be..lad2777 wrote:so in envelope or along to documents u dont have an invitation, so u can book it whenever u want up to 90 days?
I though they send a ceremony date with decision/approval
