Passport application return of documents

Post by GmanILR2012 » Tue Oct 08, 2013 9:37 am

Hi guys and girls,

Just wondering if anyone who has been through the passport application process could please advise.

At what point are your documents returned to you? At the interview, after the interview or before?

Many thanks in advance.

Kind regards

You should get the papers in the post (or via Secure Courier if you paid for that when applying) before the Interview.

You then get a letter asking you to make an appointment.

You attend the appointment.

The passport follows by Secure Courier in the next 4-5 days.

Thanks for the quick reply ritswaney,

this is why I am a little confused. I paid for secure return of my documents but they have not yet been returned. I have already received my interveiw letter and booked in for my interveiw on 15 October 2013.

I hope they haven't lost my passport and naturalisation certificate... I think I will give them a call to see if they have posted it yet. many thanks for clearing that up for me though. much appreciated.
