Charity Entrepreneur?

Hi there, new to the forum and looking for a bit of assistance before seeking legal advice.

I'm currently here on a Tier 4 Visa and have just completed my MSc. My current visa is set to expire in January 2014 (from the USA).

I'm looking to found a charity in the UK (Scotland) that would hold significant value to the community. In order to do so, I would have to incorporate as an SCIO (Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation). Would this mean that I should apply under a Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa or are there other options that would be more appropriate?

I couldn't find anything re: charities on the UK Border website or on this forum. If anyone could provide any information I'd greatly appreciate it.

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

You can't usa a charity to qualify for T1
