Is it better to wait till feb or shall I apply now? help!!!

Post by Momi » Mon Oct 14, 2013 11:01 pm

Hi guys
Ok I'm so much confused as I have been told by many consultants that apply after February, because they are like 70% sure that home office will introduce a new category for people on PSW. My bank statement is ready and all I need to do is start working on other documentation. I have valid visa till end of August 2014. Shall I apply now or wait till feb? My main concern is if home office refuse my application then I will have enough time to re apply.
I have read many refusal stories on this forum and I'm also concerned about it whereas I have funds in uk bank statement.
Please can anyone help me out,
Thanks in advance

I don't think so ...

I really don't think so my friend. The policy of UK govt. is very clear, if allow immigration from non-EU countries, make sure that they do the investment. There is a very strict regulation on work visas now.

In fact, if you analyze carefully, PSW is closed now. therefore, Home Office will not do a NEW HOMEWORK by thinking of extension after psw, which is already a closed chapter. I hope you understand what I mean ;-))

UKVI is now deciding T1 E within 4-6 weeks time. If everything is ok, I believe better to apply as this route can be ended at settlement. Immigration is getting more tighter day by day. You have still long visa that is a plus point. Be prepared for all documents and do more research on prospecting business according to your qualifications and experiences as you have to survive on that after approval of visa. Good luck.
Many Regards

Cheers for that guys. So I'm gonna start working now, will try to find an office 1st. I want to apply in couple of month as I already have 10 months visa. Shall I put 50k in one account or is it ok if I have them in 2 different uk accounts?
Please advice

@ Momi, its better to have your whole 50k in a single UK bank account to avoid caseworker giving unnecessary excuses.

Its your choice either to apply now or wait till next year, but one thing about UK immigration law is that things changes before we know it and who knows what they might come up with.

But one thing that I personally believe is that if one is really serious about investment in the business, then submitting all the necessary evidence will make it easier to get the visa and if refuse as so many have been, then the appeal is likely to be granted if business is trading and judge can be convince of ones genuineness in the business.
The key to success is knowledge and hardwork, and to have faith.

How's your consultant knows that UKBA is going to change the rules, even there is no update at UKBA official website?
