Validity of Visa

Post by beewinged » Wed Oct 23, 2013 7:19 pm

Hi,

I am trying to establish if my visa has been curtailed or not?
I am on Tier 1 dependant visa and having problems with my husband. I think he has tried to curtail it.

My visa is valid till 2014.

I asked a solicitor and he said that as long as I have my passport the visa is valid.

Is that true???

An urgent reply will be highly appreciated

On what basis did you obtain your visa?

Do you have a child?

A curtailment decision will almost certainly be communicated to you in many cases, as it will be accompanied by a right of appeal, except in mandatory case, where someone has blatantly breached the conditions of their leave.

Thank you so much for prompt reply.

I got my visa as tier 1 dependant and it is valid till may 2014.

I am out of UK at present and wish to travel back and I am afraid I will be stopped at border and deported.

I lost my brp card and will be travelling without it as a solicitor has told me that they will just take my finger prints at the border and let me through.

I dont have any children

A solicitor? Is he a UK immigration solicitor?
Forget about entering UK, if you are a visa national no airline in the world would let you board the aircraft.

And when you and husband have fallen out, what's the point coming to UK.
