Is appointment required for PIO application in London

Post by vikramn » Thu Oct 24, 2013 1:38 pm

Dear Friends

I want to apply for a PIO card of our child. I was trying to call HCI London for an appointment, however, did not get any response. Do I need appointment or I just go and stand in queue? Please let me know how it can be done?

Also do I need Notorised copies of documents?

Will they give back our and passport of my son back?

No appt needed, and dont follow the queue, just go near the entrance where security guards standing, and say that you are there to apply for PIO for your child, then and there you will be given token, better go early between 8-9am, so you can come out before 12pm

If you want to follow the queue, better enquire with security guards first then follow the queue.
Also do I need Notorised copies of documents?
No

Yes , and once payment taken (only cash or postal order) then you will be given a date for collection.

I think PIO is on counter 6, staff named jyoti, very good service
