Family Reunion Entry Clearance

Post by zeeshanzaheer » Sat Nov 02, 2013 2:50 pm

I am looking for expert opinion for one of my friend .

He claimed Asylum in 2011 and his Asylum claim was successful and was given refugee status. He is looking for his family reunion from Pakistan.

He came in the uK in 2011 and before he came here his marriage was dissolved .But his both children (age 4 and 5 years old) living with mother.
As per his understanding wife is not under pre flight family.

Under the Immigration Rules, only your pre-existing family (husband, wife, civil partner or unmarried/same-sex partner, plus any children under 18 who formed part of the family unit when you fled to seek asylum) can apply to enter the UK under the family reunion programme. However, we may allow family reunion for other family members if there are compassionate reasons why their case should be considered outside the Immigration Rules.

1- As for as he knows that it is not necessary to have valid passports from family member .They can travel on Immigration Status documents.is it right?

2- What documents family members need to produce????

3- What Documents sponsor need to show???

4- can wife apply as well for family reunion as pre-flight or post flight?

5-if wife application is refused what alternate arrangement must be in place to bring children in the uk as they are too young to travel and the main applicant cant travel to Pakistan

6- is there any way she can apply|?

7- Does kids need any letter from mother to allow them to go Pakistan?

8- what is element of Family life invole in this application?

9- Do they need tuberculosis test?

please advice
