Spouse settlement visa, the extra info has not been asked of me, but i know i have sent in less than what was required of me to prove my financial income! I do earn over 18600 though!

If under the new rules, then you should send the specified documents.

If you do not meet the financial requirement due to a lack of specified financial evidence and that is the only criteria you do not meet, the application will be put on hold until at least March 2014. You should send what is required as soon as you get it.

Can a moderator or someone who has got their visa after being on hold please explain

1) what documents are needed to prove employment?

2) do these documents have to be dated before or after the application for spouse settlement was given in!?

I am now waiting for documents so i can send them off pronto, but i keep getting told different things!

I went to see an immgiration specialist, he said send upto date ddocuments. My husband called Gerrys they also said to send upto date documents.

But a few members on this forum have said otherwise, and have sent documents dating before their application.

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CLEAR THIS UP'!!

I suggest you read Annex FM 1.7 particularly the specified evidence.

I do know what to provide, but being on hold, the letter stated the details have to be the same prior to the application, so do i have to give the documents prior to the application or up to date ones?

The letter states " it must relate to the reasons given above as to why you do not meet the income threshold requirement. It must relate only to your circumstances, and/or those of your sponsor,as tthey were at the date of your application or in the relevant period(s) prior to that date"

What i don't understand is what period do they want me to cover, prior the application or after?

Why was the application put on hold?
What did the ECO say was required?

It was because i gave in 14 weeks of payslips and 6 months bank statements.

I was advised this would be enough!

They calculated that from those 14 wageslips that my overall wage was below the requirement, because i had obviously given in less!

I earn 19,000 per annum

If you are paid weekly you need to send in 26 for period of 6 months before the application.

Do you also submit an employment letter?

Hey i have a quick question, i have all my statements from March to September, however, i have not yet recieved, a statement for September onwards, i did manage to gt a printed version, but the bank refused to sign and verify it, because of the high demand and because of fraud.

Will the BHC accept the printed statement?

The statement should come by Wednesday, but then that would be cutting it fine as the documents need to be given in 9 days.

What should i do?

If the statement is coming directly from the bank you don't need to verify it.
Once you receive it, send by courier or scan and email if they will accept that way. Did they give you details of how to send the additional info?

I gt my statement in the post an original one from my bank.
They want all originals, sent by courier or given into Gerrys
