Changes to Ranks

Dear Forum Members,

You may have noticed that the ranks (title below username) have recently changed. In order to show some additional appreciation to certain members, we have introduced a special rank – ‘Respected Guru’. We have also replaced existing ranks in order to better portray the special rank that has been introduced (namely the removal of the rank ‘Guru’ and replacing it with Diamond Member).

The new special rank ‘Respected Guru’ has been awarded to those members who the moderating team believe have displayed a continuous and substantial commitment to the forum. Their posts have been both knowledgeable and helpful whilst also adhering to the forum rules.

This does not mean that other members are not appreciated. Furthermore, the special rank may be allocated to other members that also show an exceptional commitment to the forum, in due course.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to all the members who continue to make this forum a productive and helpful environment for others, in the often complex and emotional world of immigration.
