Hi folks i get below 2 reply in 2 days i email yesterday get reply as i was getting 2 years ago so i replay them then get email my application on advanced stage who to believe same section 2 different ppl different replays i am waiting since 2011 .
Hi,
Processing of your application is currently at an advanced stage.
You will be informed of the Minister's decision as soon as possible. There
are no dates announced as yet for future citizenship ceremonies.
Kind regards
xxxxx xxxxxxx
Citizenship Division
Hi
Your application continues to be processed with a view to establishing
whether it meets the statutory conditions for the granting of
naturalisation, such as good character and lawful residence, and will be
submitted to the Minister for decision as expeditiously as possible.
It is recognised that all applicants for citizenship would wish to have a
decision on their application without delay. As well as being a
significant event in the life of the recipient, the granting of Irish
citizenship through naturalisation as provided for in law is also a major
step for the State which confers certain rights and entitlements not only
within the State but also at European Union level and it is important that
appropriate procedures are in place to preserve the integrity of the
process.
Regards

Love 211, Ignore the below one saying you are at stage 2. The moment they write you to furnish further documents, such as fines...Then the garda clearance has been done. Its just them preparing your file to send to the minister. I called & emailed them myself 1 week agao and now on stage 3...Gone to the minister for a decision.

Jeff2013, i think this batch of approvals and ceremony is one of the messy ones that is arranged by the DOJ.
Myself and alot of other members have got approvals, submitted the bank draft and other stuff but no news about the ceremony and in fact that is not even decided when the ceremony would be.....

The minister has been out of the country for some time. This might be contributing to the current uncertainty and confusion.

Guys, I have got a very contradictory reply from the citizenship division about the ceremony:
Dear XXX
We have no date confirmed yet for the next ceremony but we are hoping it will be before the end of January 2014.

It's not contradictory. It's not as specific as the previous reply. Both talk about end of January. Maybe some are more careful with what they share over emails than others.

newmember13, which email did you write to, please?
I'm in the same situation. I've mailed the photographs and waiting for the ceremony, but I can not find an email that can be used for for citizenship queries, only the phone number listed here:
http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/WP07000003
When I google for
citizenshipinfo@justice.ie I wonder if it is something that has been phased out because it isn't listed on any government websites. Now, I wonder who is it that replies to persons who do email there
?
