mn1 3(2) waiting time

hi there,
I have applied the MN1 3(2) for my son and I received the acknowledge receipt. I would like to ask how normally will take the process if the application approval. I understand the MN1 guide explain within 6 months. I want to ask anyone have same experience can share with me about this
