Elderly Parents Immigration Process

Post by makati » Thu Nov 07, 2013 10:20 am

Hello Everyone,
My Father is 75 and my Mom is 70 years old. I am the only son and i am settled in UK. I am on ILR and applied for British Citizenship. Once i get my British Passport i am planning to call my elderly parents to stay with me forever as there is no one to look after them in India.

Can someone please advise those who have gone through this process and been successful in calling there parents here in UK on family dependent visa. What is the complete process and what documents i need to call them here?

I dont send them any money as they are not dependent on me but i am not sure if i can call them as my dependent and also on elderly ground as also i am the only sibling of my parents.

Not possible, very very expensive to apply and almost zero chance of success, not even dependent and no more visit visas after rejection....

Unfortunately, under domestic law, there is little to no chance of doing this. If Singh can be used for parents, then consider the EEA route.
