They charge hundreds of pounds in application fees. At least they should post all documents as recorded delivery.

Update on Correction to Certificate

My friend just called me to say that he received a call from someone at the Liverpool office this morning. Incredible........ See below what they told him

''You sent a package last month which we are unable to locate. Could you tell us what was wrong with the certificate so we will issue a new one and it will be in the post tomorrow and you will receive it on Wednesday and Thursday''.

He replied he can email them the Scanned copy of the Certificate if they could provide him an email address where attachments wont cause the mail to bounce.

They asked him to spell out the first name, surname and middle name which he did.

So even if one were to send things to them by Recorded Delivery, things go missing in the 21st Century.

how can they say that - didn't they confirm it was received, how did they lose it?

just can't believe - there is no value for recorded delivery?

I just got a call the amended certificate has been received by my friend.
So looks like its raining amendments.
