Tier 2 rejected

Did part qualified Acca. Had a bachelors degree equivalent certificate from naric. Had a job offer from a company as a business development manager with 23k salary. Got rejected by saying Acca is not a academic degree. Have the option to appeal.
Anyone gone thru same situation. Are there any options available pls??need help. Thank u

The requirement to switch from tier 4 to tier 2 is that you have lawfully completed a uk recognised bachelors degree, masters degree or PGCE /PGDE. Vocational/professional qualifications which are at an equivalent level are not sufficient. As Acca is not a degree you don't qualify to switch on the basis of this qualification.
