I need your help

Post by hey » Thu Nov 14, 2013 11:09 am

Hi

I got some interview question from earlier thread.

I applied oct 2012 t1 200 k in which I got refuse on April 2013 and reason was bank later. Now I have applied for JR I got permitted from high court, court fees paid but waiting for hearing date.

My visa was finished in may2012, to consider my legal stay during JR I have applied fresh application tier 1 50k in june 2013. Now I have been invited for interview next week.
In this application included docs:-
Application form, photos
Personal ac statement for 50k fund access
Maintenance fund statement
Business bank statement
One client contract
Company certificates, car letter (email version)

I am planning to take updated statement on interview day. But I'm only confused should I take business plan with me. Is it necessary?

Please need ur expert advice.
Thanks

@ hey, you should take all necessary documents with you to your interview as you never can tell what question might come up.

But business plan is very crucial to your application so you should take it with you.

If I may ask, why did you change from 200k route to 50k route in your second application?

The company is new. The previous company is still active but I'm no more involve.
Also I haven't submitted business plan. Then I have to create one. ??

@ hey, my questions is that why did you apply for 200k route before and now change again to 50k route? Am asking this question because it might come up in your interview.

Ok
When I planned first application I was about to make 50k but the third party was in Europe who was sponsoring me. When he provided the statements there was more than 200k available. so my solicitor said why don't we put 200k it will be easy and less document. So we did that.

When I got refuse and plan fresh application, at that time I managed to have 50k in my personal ac. So choose 50k. This is the story my friend. Any suggestion.

Thanks

I think you need to have a very good reason to defend the reason why you change from 200k route to 50k route should in case the interviewer ask you.

I wish you the best of luck.

I wish I can give that solicitor a spark on the head. How could anyone advice you to use 200k instead of 50k? How could he/she?

That solicitor is selfish. He/she wanted the easy route for him/she to do and not considering the option that will be better for you. Tier 1 Entreprenuer is not all about just getting the visa. 50k investment capital option is easier to achieve.

Hi Lola,

You are right and that was the mistake I have done my friend. And that solicitor is one of the big name in London.

Hello Hey,

Try and relax and go back to your business plan again. Your business is meant to help you and give you clarity and not meant to get you confused. If you are feeling confused, then there is something wrong that needs to be addressed in time and if you are not sure of your business plan before the day, please, do not submit it. Try and get someone to help you with your business plan if possible.

If the problem is the 200k-50k. This should not be a problem, if your interviewer ask you, you can just tell him/her what you have told us or any other reasonable reason. You were advised by a solicitor to use the 200k investment option, you had the capital and decided to use it then.

You are entitled to 50K category so you can decide to change at this moment. The two options are opened to you and definately, everyone is expected to choose the option that is easier to achieve if there is still the opportunity to do so. Whatever you say, be brief as possible.

Please, can you confirm that the dates below are correct.

Good luck.

You applied in oct 2012 t1 200 k
Got refuse on April 2013 and reason was bank later.
Now applied for JR. Got permitted from high court, court fees paid but waiting for hearing date.

Visa expired in May 2012.
Applied for fresh application tier 1 50k in june 2013.

I guess the blame should be solely on HEY rather than the solicitor because even if the solicitor advice that you choose 200k investment, do you actually think that your third party sponsor will be able to give you the 200k funds.

Solicitor gave advice but you are the one that must have spoken to the third party sponsor and decided between yourself that you want the 200k route.

As an entrepreneur you should be able to see the viability of investing 50k in 3yrs as to the huge sum of 200k. You should also know that after your visa is granted, you will need to make lots of business decision which you should take responsibility for rather than blame it on someone else.

@ Lola
Yes the dates are correct.

Thanks for your comments.

@ olasunkamni
I intent to invest 200k anyway in post office and shops. But the application tool so long than we expect. So I told third party to utilise if they need somewhere.

Thanks for your help guys.
