ICT dependent to Tier 2 (General) or Tier 2 (Main)

Hello,

Hope you are doing well.

I'm currently on ICT Dependent and my current dependent visa expire on June-2015. For the IT company i work for in India has
found a project which i can pick up in their UK branch and so i wanted to understand the options i have.

1. I understand it clearly that i can pick up the job straight away as ICT dependent are allowed to work in UK ?

2. If my employer is willing to apply a Tier 2 general for me (My preferred option, as i want to stay longer in UK)
a. Can i switch from tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 General and from within UK itself ?
b. Do they have to go through the labor law option for the job i.e. advertise the job before they can apply for me ?

3. If my employer is willing to apply a Tier 2 ICT for me
a. Can i switch from tier 2 ICT dependent to Tier 2 ICT Main applicant as my parent in india and UK is the same ?
b. If question A is valid than can i apply within UK itself or do i have to go back ?
