As Norwegian citizen applying spouse visa for non-eu citizen

Hello Folks,
I am a Norwegian citizen and married with non-European citizen and we both live in sweden. We have applied family immigration 5 months ago. I am trying to find a job since I moved but no success so far. I used all my savings to pay the rents, bills and for grocessary and got no money left. I am wondering if I am eligible for state benefits in Sweden and I am not sure if this will effect or possibly can be reason for migrationverket to reject the family immigration visa of my spouse?? and or immigration office do not consider it negative if I apply for state benefits for my rents and living?? Please any one who can give expert opinion regarding this matter.
