Tier 2 ICT; Is ILR possible?

I am currently in UK holding Tier 2 ICT long term staff migrant visa stamped on July 2012, my visa got extend more 2 years and will completed in June 2017.

1) Can i apply for ILR after completed 5 years.
2) Can i convert my Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general and if yes then how.

1. No.
2. Return to home country, don't enter UK as a Tier 2 migrant for 12 months, find a sponsor for Tier 2 (General), get rCoS, apply for entry clearance.

Ireland Visa

I got any job interview in ireland, Will i have difficult in Ireland visa. any idea what is the process.Do i need to complete my cooling period of 1 year for UK visa then apply for ireland.
